This section is for you. If you want more offical rules, read the section below. In singles, the center lines serve no purpose, so ignore them. Scoring A match is played best 3 of 5 games (or 4/7 or 5/9). For each game, the first player to reach 11 points wins that game, however a game must be won by at least a two point margin. A point is scored after each ball is put into play (not just when the server wins the point as in volleyball). The edges of the table are part of the legal table surface, but not the sides. Flow of the Match Each player serves two points in a row and then switch server. However, if a score of 10-10 is reached in any game, then each server serves only one point and then the server is switched. After each game, the players switch side of the table. In the final game (ie 5th game), the players switch side again after either player reaches 5 points. Legal Service The ball must rest on an open hand palm. Then it must be tossed up at least 6 inches and struck so the ball first bounces on the server's side and then the opponent's side. If the serve is legal except that it touches the net, it is called a let serve. Let serves are not scored and are reserved. Equipment The paddle should have a red and a black side. The ball should be either orange or white and 40 mm in size. But your ambitious neighbor, the kingdom of hornets, is casting the greedy eyes on your homeland. Hordes of fierce solders are sent to invade your empire with only one goal: to seize and colonize the land. You need to save the day by growing your army and expel the malicious intruders. When the game starts, larvae will slowly grow one by one at the bottom left corner. Above the larvae you can find a selection panel, which contains 3 types of bees for you to breed. The one on the top is the soldier which defends against the enemies; the one in the middle is the worker bee, which can increase the incoming amount of resources (honey, of course); and the one at the bottom of the panel is the drone, which breeds and increases the birth rate of the larvae. Each type of the bees requires a specific amount of resources to grow, and this is shown on the right of the selection panel. To grow a type of bee, simply click the corresponding icon on the panel. The current incoming rate of resources is shown on the top of the screen, while the birth rate of larvae is displayed on the bottom right. When a wave of hornets is coming, a timer will appear on the right of the screen, indicating the remaining seconds for your preparation. When the enemies arrive, they will start attacking the members of your empire. The members will be eliminated when they are under violent attacks, but you may continuously grow new members during the battle for better defense. If your soldiers are all defeated, the hornets will reach the beehive at the top left corner and attempt to destroy it, and if the hive is completely broken, you lose the game. If a wave of intruders is eliminated, the hornets will temporarily cease fire, but will soon come back with a larger and stronger legion. After 9 rounds of violent waves, the queen hornet will join the final battle directly, and you need to defeat her in order to declare victory. Eliminate the demons and return peace to your beloved empire! | |||
